YOUR JOURNEY INTO THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE
- Learn with interesting material
- Expose yourself to the language
- Practice with regularity
- Forget the fact that you’re learning
- Make friends along the way
I’ve found Simone’s podcast on Spotify and decided to listen without knowing that I was going to discover a whole new world in Italian. Simone’s podcast, I think you already know it is good, period. But when I became a member of his membership program, I started to listen again to all the episodes reading the transcription along.
I can say that my Italian had a big improvement after that, and not only my listening skills, but also my reading and understanding. Even my speech has improved after I became a member. But it only helps if you decide to be consistent, of course.
I just have to thank Simone for his work, all his effort to bring his stories and share his adventures with us. I am grateful to be part of this and to be able to encourage Simone to continue his good work in teaching Italian in an easy and simple way.
Thank you, friend.
Improving your language skills with Simone’s Podcasts is fun and it’s fascinating how fast you can see progress. It’s really great way to get better in understanding native speakers talking and to enhance your vocabulary and learn expressions that you will never find in schoolbooks or when learning a language with non-native language teachers.
“I have been working with Simone for about 6 months and it’s been a great experience learning Italian with the Membership program. As a beginner, it’s been so helpful to listen to the podcasts, read and re-read the translation provided each week, and send Simone specific questions I may have about content, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and other clarifications I might need. He is patient, precise, a strong communicator, and has a great sense of humor! To have a personal language coach is so helpful to the learning process. Highly recommended!”
1. How long does it take to have a real conversation in Italian?
That depends on many factors like your native language and how close it is to Italian as well as the number of languages that you already speak. In general, if you start with an A2 level (upper beginner) and follow the study plan provided with the Membership Program every single day, you should start seeing results in three to six months.
2. Is a minimum level of Italian required to take the course?
You’ll make the most out of the course if you already have a basic level of Italian, about A2 (upper beginner according to the European Framework). This means that you have a basic idea of how the verb conjugation works and you are somehow familiar with the most common expressions and personal pronouns.
3. Do you also explain grammar?
This course doesn’t provide you with detailed grammar explanations. I am a big supporter of the idea that we learn grammar from the language and not the other way around. Having said that, some basic grammar knowledge can be useful. That’s why this course is not aimed at people who are starting completely from scratch.
4. Does the podcast include practical exercises?
Yes, every transcript comes with a set of two exercises that are called “Missioni Segrete” and with the explanation of WHY each exercise is important for your language learning journey. This way you can also learn HOW to learn a language.
5. What if I start and I realize it’s too difficult for me?
If you understand less than 30% of what I say in the first couple of episodes of the podcast, this is definitely too difficult for you. In this case, I invite you to come back later in a couple of months. If you subscribe to the Membership Program and then realize this is not for you – don’t worry, this is one of the reasons why we offer a trial period. You can cancel at any time.
6. If I subscribe today, do I have access to old episodes too?
Yes, the membership will grant you access to the whole archive of transcripts and exercises.
7. What if I want to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel both monthly and annual plans anytime without any problem.
